Congratulations Donald on your terrific website. The little guy playing the trumpet reminds me of when you and I were in high school and we both played in the band. Those are real good memories and that little guy you got playing the trumpet will have a lot of experiences and good memories like you and I have. You and I both went into the Navy and I was stationed at Sand Point Naval Air Station when you were at the Bremerton Naval Yard assigned to the USS Yorktown. Keep up the good work on this site because all of the veterans need this site to come for information. Keep this site going and let it build as only you can do. You were always an exceptional person and it takes your kind to do this and do it well. I miss our good old days when we were terribly young.Thank you Donald for this site.

I start to cry when I see the Final Roll Call on this site. But, that is what is out there. It is wonderful what you are doing for veterans and their families. And what a wonderful program you have for geting instruments for children who want to play and make music and you are helping them do that. Your little trumpet player is just as cute as can be and he looks real serious about playing his trumpet that the Veterans In Politics got for him.

What a darling little boy trumpet player you have on this site. He really is a cute little boy. He reminds me of my son Richard when he was little and played the trumpet in school. He became a sailor, got married and his little boy has his dad's trumpet that we bought him when he was in grade school. This is a wonderful thing for the Veterans In Politics to do, to get little kids musical instruments. Keep it up and lots of luck to you Mario.

Oh how great this site is. I love what you are doing for children in getting instruments for them to play. This is a good program and more people should care about kids. I got out of the navy in Seattle right after you did and I always knew you would do something wonderful in life and this certainly is. Your site is going to grow into something even more and bigger than you realize. It is time that something like this happened. I wish to contribute something to help support your website. I am doing well and can afford to send some funds to help out. God bless you for all your efforts to the veterans and their children. Thank you for this site.

If anybody could do a site like this it has to be you Donald. I met you in Seattle after you got out and I kept sailing in the Pacific when we met again after all those years in San Francisco when we sailed in and then later in in Long Beach and San Piedro out of Los Angeles. You are doing a wonderful thing for little kidds and I know how much you love children and the help you have always given them. Keep up the good work. You have the very best site out there for veterans and their families. Thank you sailor. 229 guestbook entries
